I am a Clinical Therapist, Life Empowerment Coach, Mental Health Counsellor.
I am inspired in positively supporting clients that I work with. I help them gain a deeper connection with their inner self and heal their emotional wounds. I am empathetic, kind and supportive, but also direct and honest. I help my clients learn to communicate what they don't want and what they do want in life. To use new coping skills, see things in new perspective, and embrace living a better life with confidence and empowerment. I support my clients in taking control of negative issues and have self acceptance of past.
Experience
I am an experienced and qualified counsellor who has worked in the USA and in the UK. I have a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and MSc in Mental Health Counselling.
I have had training in Humanistic Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Talking Therapy, Person- Centred Therapy, Solution-Based Therapy and many more. However I do not believe that one therapy fits all, so I use Integrative Counselling Therapy in which I combine and draw from more than one modality to tailor therapy to the needs of each individual client. This enables the client to have a more bespoke therapy session.
Before gaining my my degrees, I have worked in various rewarding and interesting jobs. I was a beautician and hairdresser, and also Cabin Crew with a major airline. I have worked as a waitress, receptionist, cleaner, gardener sale assistant, and a variety of jobs working in the public sector within Customer Service sector.
